The HALO Home 4" MicroEdge™ Smart Canless Direct Mount Downlights can be installed virtually anywhere with its slim compact design and smart HALO Home features. From dimming and adjustable color temperature to the endless ways to customize and control through the HALO Home app, it’s a brilliant addition to your smart home lighting system.

Think thin.
This ultra-thin Smart Downlight is designed for new construction and renovation work and can install from below the ceiling in as little as a 1-1/2" plenum height. The MicroEdge™ can be used in direct contact with insulation and is airtight, reducing airflow between unconditioned and conditioned spaces and meeting restricted air flow requirements.

Easy Canless Install. No Housing Needed.
The MicroEdge™ installs into a standard hole saw sized cutout and is securely held in place with springs. The driver box installs through the cutout and can be positioned remotely from the fixture fitting using extension cables (sold separately). The keyhole slots facilitate attachment to the building structure.
